Default BAD@SS '06 GT COMBO?

So.....after months of saving --- I am almost have everything that I need to get on a few sites and start a fury of ordering a few mods and I was wondering if anyone knows if this combo is compatible and how do you think it will perform.

High Velocity Intake:
http://mossmustang.com/Shop/ViewProd...eIndexID=52844

Mystery 8 Hood/Nose: (fully functional version)
http://www.fangperformance.com/php/i..._position=23:5

Saleen Supercharger:
http://www.saleen.com/SC101_Services...0-1607-B11313*

JBA Cat4ward Headers:
http://www.mossmustang.com/Shop/View...eIndexID=48581

Catted ProChamber:
http://www.haneymotorsport.com/mac/05PCcatlrg.jpg

MAC Axlebacks:
http://www.haneymotorsport.com/mac/05%20Mac1.jpg

I want to lower the stance of this car a bit but I dont want any issues with drivability. This is my only car and I dont plan on racing every time that I come to a light. Plus, my wife will be driving it from time to time also......... enough said there haha.

Is the Saleen Suspension System (http://www.haneymotorsport.com/SALEEN%20SUSPENSION.htm) worth purchasing or do you guys recommend something else?

I am also purchasing 4.10 gears, gauges, pro50 shifter, and a couple other items to be named later

Let me know if you think I should change anything on here to get more performance for the money spent. Thanks for your time and efforts!!!

Dan

only thing im really questioning is that intake with the S/C, if i understand correctly that intake needs to do some relocating of items, and that massive shield seems like it could get in the way of the S/C process

Don't buy the headers or mid-pipe, they are not enough of an improvement over the stock parts to justify spending money on them. The intake is okay but it will limit the MAF you can use with it. Save your money and don't add the 4.10's you will not get the benifit that a N/A car will get from gears. Add injectors and a MAF to get the most out of the S/C. Definitely lower the car, and get LCA to help with traction. Also get some better tire and wheels to go with the added power. If your getting the hood for looks then thats up to you but if your looking for functionality then again it is not woth the money. The axlebacks don't net any gain and the only reason to change them is for sound, so any axleback you like is the one to go with.

Damn GJP05.... you tore my **** up, huh?

So, basically I just listed a lot of wasted money??? I should just get the S/C, upgraded suspension and LCA, and call it a day?

Im not sure that I understand the gear thing though. Please explain your reason and the differences noticed from a N/A vs S/C.

Sorry but I know your in the military like me so it is best to save money where you can. The headers you listed are short headers and that is basically what the stock headers are. the stock mid-pipe is a catted h-pipe basically the same as the pro chamber. The intake can be used but then you won't be able to upgrade to the 90mm MAF without changing the intake again. As far as the gears, you can use them but you would basically be wasting 1st gear with them. The 4.10's help with acceleration but with the S/C you will already be accelerating quickly so you don't need the gears. Get the S/C, 39# injectors, 90mm MAF, CAI, lowering springs, adjustable pan-hard bar, new rims, new tires LCA, and a good tune.

The C+L Racer intake will work with the Saleen, as long as you put in the lower engine mounts as well. There are a lot of folks doing exactly that, (something I intend to do myself). The lower engine mounts will also take care of the firewall clearance that some Saleen buyers have had.

I agree about the 4.10s with a manual and a SC... you will be through 1st too quickly... there ARE folks with 4.10s, blowers, and Autos that swear by them, but then they don't have to worry about missing a shift.

If you are putting LCAs on and lowering the car, get some LCA relocation brackets as well. Also, new struts/shocks, (Tokio D specs, the FRPP kit, etc) since the sotckers are designed to work with the stock springs.

Can you guys post the recommended sites for these items as well? Otherwise, you will have another post from someone else in a day or two asking the same thing - just worded differently. I appreciate the comments. You guys have already saved me a ton of money!!!!

Just thought I'd add my two cents worth of info.I have the WMSRacing CAI kit on my 05 GT not SC'd but if the the size of the mass air is your issue go to http:// www.wmsracing.com you can order it with a 95mm mass air tube.I really like this setup I ran it stock with no tune for about six months and had no problems with the stock tune I have recently gotten a SCT2 with 93 tune from Brent at Brenspeed and what a difference. No lag and torque up the wazoo at 4000 RPM.Plus at shows this setup turns a few heads and many questions are asked about it.Anyway good luck with what ever route you finally go with your mods.
