You're right. This looks so gay in my opinion. Why would Carol Shelby rice out a perfectly good stang?

This is sarcasm....right?
To be fair, Mr. Shelby has let a few rubber stamps of his name slip by, some of them rather profound...

He has a lifetime pass for such infractions, but that does not mean we can't call a duck when we see it...

FWIW (not much), I think someone needs to graph out the intersection of "absurd", "form over function", "form without function" and "rice" so that everyone can correctly insult other people's taste.

It is techincally possible to "rice" a mustang - Saleen has come within millimeters at times... but it is far more difficult than the aspersions cast on this page would seem to indicate... For one, you would need to cut the HP of a stock GT in half or worse...

I was being sarcastic. I hate when people describe muscle cars as rice. Everyone has his or her own opinion on what looks nice. The only things out there that I consider rice are the little Japanese and some American sedans that are made to compete with real sports cars and muscle cars. Example, Honda Civic with 14" brakes, turbo charged four cylinder engine and body kit = rice. Nissan Z 350 = Japanese sports car not rice. In my opinion, you cannot "rice up" a mustang because you are starting with one hell of a muscle car not a family sedan. Just my opinion.
