take it to the dealership, i had that problem with my car. They said it was something to do with how the sensor is mounted. Mine got jarred around when i hit a pot hole and they fixed it right up for me.

Last week i was ripping around in a parking lot (empty) just having some fun abusing the tires, i looked at my tank and it said "0 miles to empty"... i know i probably sucked up some gas doing that but not an entire tank. From the best i can tell i was drifting on a left turn when it happened...i'm thinking it might be possible some kind of sensor gets jarred when the gas sloshes to the right, but that's imo. i took it over a few speed bumps, nothing happened. In a panic i went to a gas station and put 2 bucks in it thinking it would jar it, nothing happened, still 0. Discouraged and dreading the 20 mile trip to the dealer, i let it sit for about 30 mins and when i started it back up, it was fine...

hope that helps.

Maybe it's Ford's way of flagging crazy drivers and archiving the information for future warranty issues [sm=bustedsign.gif] We are all screwed!

Ah yes, but did they throw the all too common "Professional Driver, Closed Course" disclaimer?
