Default Oil question

The book says use 5w-20, but i bought a high rpm synthetic blend 10w-30. Is that gonna be ok?

Default RE: Oil question

I'm not sure what a "high RPM synthetic" is but I would stick with the proper weight 5-20. There are several synthetics available that are 5-20.

Default RE: Oil question

I would stick with what your owner's manual says. Tolerances are very tight on these new engines, so quick oil flow is a must, especially in cold weather.

Read all about oil here:

I use Motorcraft 5W-20 Semisynthetic in mine and a Motorcraft FL820A oil filter; they have both at Walmart.

Thx,

Mike
