I noticed when I picked my 2006 GT up, that it only had one of the aluminum door sill plates on it (the ones that say Mustang). Every other GT Premium I've seen has had them on both sides, and I only have it on the driver's side. Does anyone know if I was ripped off a door sill plate? Just wondering... My dealer said to bring it in and they'd look at it to "see what they could do," but I thought it might be good to have some ammunition to take to the gunfight.

Mine has both. Bought it in May.

Mine has both as well, bought late may, it was on another lot for a while before that.

I got mine towards the end of June. It had been on a different lot before I accepted delivery as well. Thanks to both of you, now I at least have something to go on...

When my car arrived the passenger one was dented...

About 3 days later the drivers side one kept coming off when I would open the door.

The dealership replaced them both - - no problems since.

Well, my dealership is having a Mustang show tomorrow, so I was gonna swing by there anyhow. Now I just have more incentive to go.

Both on mine and not that you will need to, but a common ebay item if the get dented in the future.

Same exact thing happened to me. Showed dealer and they ordered and replaced the entire passenger side sill.

Bought mine in June. Have 'em on both door sills.

Look at it this way, you have a one of a kind. I think you got ripped make them replace it.
