Default BFG DragRadials on 18" Polished Bullitts?

Whats the best size I can put on my stock 18" rims? I don't even know if mine are 18x8 or 18x18.5. But they were on there from ford when I bought the car.
I saw this on BFG's website:
BFGoodrich Tires Adds Six 18-Inch Sizes To g-Force T/Aâ„¢ Drag Radial Line

BFGoodrich® Tires has added six 18-inch sizes to its g-Force T/A® Drag Radial line, the latest generation of the industry's first street-legal tire for drag racing.

The six new sizes include: P245/40R18, P265/40R18, P275/35R18, P295/35R18, P315/30R18 and P345/30R18. With the new sizes, the g-Force T/A Drag Radial lineup now offers 13 dimensions, including three 14-inches, two 15-inch, two 17-inch and the six 18-inch sizes.
-------------

Anyone tried these? What size is the best?

I am thinking 275/35/18 but aren't these going to be pretty low profile? I have 235/50/18's now! I am not a tire expert & know that some of you guys are!
Thanks so much!

The tire size you are looking at are 1.7 inches shorter than your stock height, so yes, you will be getting a noticably lower profile tire.
As to which tire is best.. I am not certain, but I believe with Drag Radials, the wider is better, and there is little flex when compared to an actual slick, so having a lower profile should not hurt as much..
295/35's might be the best choice, as it will not lover your profile too much (only 1.2") and will give you a little more footprint.

Good info thou'.. thanks!

If you have a 18x10 inch wheels on all 4 corners you can put 265-40-18 on the front
295-35-18 on the rear
Enjoy your BFG DR's...

If those are the factory 18's then they are 18x8.5 not 18x10 unless I am mistaken
