ok im ready to buy rims and have narrowed the selection down to two styles, the poilshed fanblades or the chrome shelby GT500s. my only question is what size should i go with for the GT500's? i like the look of the 17's i have now but whats the advantages to going to 18x9.5 rather than 17x9? thats pretty much the only thing that stands in my way. any and all info would help thanks

i vote the gt500s, the fan blades are cool, but the gt500s are awesome.

I like the top one myself MUCH more.

Most people pick 18's over 17's becauses there bigger and to most people; look better.

I like the gt500s more, but i never like having rims from other trims of a mustang..just my Opi.

The fan blades look stock but the GT500's look too much like old Viper rims to me. Between the two I would get the fan blades.

In my personal opinion the advantage of going with 18� wheels is that they fill up the wheel well much better then 17�. At the dealer I seen two GT’s sitting one after the other, so you could see a side view of both of them. The one with the 18� wheels looked better because there was much less gap in the wheel well for the 18� as compared to the 17� or another way to state it is the one with 18� looked like it had been lowered as compared to the one with 17� wheels.

not true. 18 vs. 17= 17 are lighter but not noticable.

i went from 16in. to 18 and can tell no difference in the car being slower.



GT500, i almost got them those are sweet rims.
