No problems with mine......

RE: DIABLO TUNERS
Could you really tell a difference?

RE: DIABLO TUNERS
You can tell the difference with almost any tuner. You can really tell after it is loaded.

RE: DIABLO TUNERS
Definite difference... but not all is perfect. A custom dyno tune would be the best way to go.

RE: DIABLO TUNERS
I use the Diablo 93 octane tune with a C&L street(aluminum) intake, and can definitely feel a difference. Before these mods the car(manual tranny) would get a decent chirp in the 1-2 shift, and nothing in 2-3. After modding it gets sideways going into 2nd, and a nice chirp into 3rd. Plus, the throttle response in vastly improved.
The supplied canned tunes are conservative, having a slightly rich A/F ratio. A dyno run can squeeze out a few more hp by playing with the A/F, and possibly with the timing. But considering the cost of dyno runs I chose to stick with the canned tune, and I'm completely satisfied with it. |
RE: DIABLO TUNERS
I noticed you did not post weather you are an auto or manual ?
Manual = Diablo is fine auto = get the sct2 the Diablo won't let you adjust your shift points and the sct2 will so in a manual it won't matter. |
RE: DIABLO TUNERS
with the predator you can adjust shift points on a auto, you just cant adjust the firmness

I love mine!

+1 Liked the 93 canned tune, love the custom dynotune.
