Typically, this is a problem that the 05-07 stangs had. In 08, Ford began installing a piece of felt on both sides of the track to keep from scratching glass/tint. I have an 08, my gf has an 09 and we have both noticed one or two faint vertical scratches running the height of the window. What gives? Is it possible the felt just became dirty over time and scratched it? I do run with my windows down more often than not.

That's odd. I have an 07 and bought those felt channels for an 08 for mine to avoid scratches. I haven't had an issue. Maybe something got in there

Odd, you may just want to ensure the felt still in place.

I've had a 13, and currently have a 14. Both leave about a 1 1/4" lines/scratches on the driver's side tint. Took the 13 to the dealer's about it, they said they adjusted something. Went away for a few months, then came back. My 14 is the same way, I just decided not to mess with it
