I changed to 4.10 gears and change the gear ratio with the tuner. If i have to take the CAI off for some reason and I put the car back to stock what happens to the gear ratio? Does that go back to 3.31 (auto) or stay at 4.10?

I'd imagine you could run a stock tune just recal the speedo through the X-cal or whatever tuner you have.

yes. the tune and gear adjustment can be manipulated seperately.

change the tune and everything else to stock before you take it in.

I switch tunes often even with my gear change. Just get a decent tuner like a SCT or Diablosport. I do not know about the X-cal but yes you can switch back and forth.

No. Your speedo will be off by 15+mph with the stock tune and that's on a manual that originally had 3.55's. There's no way to adjust the stock tune.

Same, I can change to 4:10's when uploading a tune, but if i return to stock, i dont see how I can only adjustthe gear ratiowithout putting in a tune. Ill go fiddle with the tuner and see if it can be done though, seeing as im going to 4:10's in, count them, 9 hours and 47 minutes =)

you cant adjust for gears in the stock tune.....you can use a modified stock tune but that would defeat the purpose since you are not returning to stock
