RE: 2.6L KB
It's real. I was just reading about a 5.2L kit for $2795. I have to find the thread. It's probably just a matter of time untill I break something anyway, and if it's got to come apart it might as well be worth it.

Nice KB BTW - Enjoy!
FWIW - I don't know what you plan on doing with it, but 2.6L of KB will take you a LONG way on a built 4.6L so the 5.2 is somewhat moot...

RE: 2.6L KB
Sean Hyland Motorsport has a big bore/stroker kit that gives 5.2L. I definately think I need this for safety. I might have to pass a truck, uphill, with a heavy load, against a stiff wind. SAFETY FIRST!

Let us know how safe you are Once your done - sounds like fun...
P.S. on the one hand - can you really argue with getting stroked AND blown? But seriously sounds like a recipie for disaster - any good experiences?
Also, anyone measured out a 4V block on the 05/06 engine comparment? (I heard the '07s had a skosh more room "where it counts")...

RE: 2.6L KB
The bigger displacement, the 28cc dish pistons, forged everything, and the 2.6 KB with the right pully should make some pretty good power without a whole lot of effort. KB claims that the twin cobra pumps with the Boost-a-pump should take care of this kind of fuel demand. Just doesn't sound that hard to make some good power.

The motor mounts on the new blocks must have changed as I have seen motor mount adaptors for the 05/06 cars to install older motors. I happen to have an extra Lincoln motor laying around that could be pushed into duty if I blow the 3V.
