I wish I could hear my car from outside. However I am stationed in virginia without any family and havent really came across someone I would let drive my car. So the closest I get is starting it up and getting out of the car to listen... I always roll the windows down to hear the other stangs though. There are some nice mustangs down here in VA Beach.

I need to get someone to drive mine so I can hear my Corsas from behind. It must sound awesome b/c when I drive under an overpass or next to some guard rails the sound echos back and sounds pure ownage.

+9999 I love hearing ANY model and year stang on the road, even the V6's. The V8's(any year) always sound deep and throaty. I dont car if the car is bone stock, you can always tell a stang is near by the distinctive growl. Nothing else sounds like a stang. I always give props whenever i hear one>>

Wow. I was just talking about this very thing today with my buddy who also owns an S197 GT. It sooo true. We both have Corsa Axle-backs and its almost frustrating how different they sound inside from out. Inside the damn things sound stock. [:@] From the outside its like audio sex. Ive had way too many exhaust set ups on my car and it seems I cant win. Either its too loud on in the inside (Mac's) or too quiet(stock, Corsas).

lol add me to the +10,000 I wasnt to sure about my macs and o/r set up then I had Pascal drive my car while I stood out side, It ended up with me pumping my fist when he flew by saying holy **** thats my car , that is so sick, love it. its almost more fun to watch your car be driven just to see how bad *** it really looks and sounds, you get used of it and take it fro granted while your driving all the time. I get people all the time though giving me thumbs up and flagging me down to say man that thing sounds so mean, they think its has like 700 hp [8D]so I dont deny it.lol

I installed the Mac A/B's on my car over the winter and had it out for the first time yesterday. Going WOT sounds better than I was expecting but the drone at 1800 RPM is louder than I was expecting as well. It got much better when I dropped the top so I guess I'll be driving with the top down as much as possible. I'd like to hear it from the outside too but it's hard to find someone I'd let near my car.

and yes, stangs sound more incredible from the outside, ESPECIALLY the newer ones with all the sound damping and such.

Next time I go to the strip I'm going to try to talk the wife into going with me and taking the digital camcorder. That way I can see what I'm doing and hear what she sounds like. I know some people I'd let drive my car without me in it but haven't had a chance to do so.

I talked my wife into the digital camcorder because our old tape one was outdated and because I could burn the videos straight to DVD without taking them to anyone (although I have the equipment for that now too.) I just haven't told her the part about it's mainly for going drag racing. Gotta rig up a mount for it inside the car next.

I let a friend who i trust drive the car Normal, Half Throttle and WoT to 3rd to hear it and..... I envy everyone I pass becuase they get to hear it from the outside
