how would 245/40R17 hook?

Default how would 245/40R17 hook?

would this tire be comparable to the 235/55R17 that come stock? doesnt seem like theres many stock size replacements...

and to hijack and add to that question, Will it make the car look like its on stilts even more. And will it look stupid if you only put them on the back and your front wheels have more side wall showing than your rears?

The 245s will hook better than stock, but not necessarily a big enough difference to for ex stop you from burning rubber. You will probably feel the difference. I dont remember the stock tire size up front, but if you have 245/40/17s in the back and 235/55/17s up front, the back tires will almost look like low profiles compared to the front. Youd want to change the front to something like a 45. btw, you can also do 255/40/17s stock.
