went last Tuesday for the first time- what a blast...but best I could do was 14.02 (forgot to turn TCS off) after letting the car cool off for a half hour or so, with TCS off- best was 14.3...I have been told that dropping tire pressure to 20-24 psi would have eliminated the wheelspin I was getting- so next time, tcs off @24 psi and see what happens(some guys mentioned throwing a bag of ice on the intake before a run too- couldnt hurt...I felt mine, even the rubber airtube/box was hot as hell...hot motor sitting in staging lanes when its a muggy 80 degrees out = pretty much heat soaked... let it cool off, keep cool in staging(shut off while waiting) dont forget tcs when you start it back up for the run
as a newbie, gotta say its a lot tougher than it looks, cause if you spin even a little, forget it...ran 14.02~15.4(yuck!) and mph at the end ranged only 99~102...seems to me its all about that first 20 feet or so(at least with stock power). I was spinning more than a little- wheelhop on a few starts, but did manage to bark third on every run- what a blast!

anyone that hasnt been to the track yet- cant express how much fun that was...bad thing is, I'm afraid it could become highly addictive

i love it though. . .

and ice on the intake. . . i will stand by this. . . i've sucessfully dropped my current best time for each night i was at the track by one tenth just by letting the ice bag set on the intake for about 30 min. . . very good idea IMO
