Any reasons not to get the JLT 2 intake from brenspeed?

Any reasons not to get the JLT 2 intake from brenspeed?
I got the OK to get an intake plus tuner. Anyone not like the JLT 2? I read a post about one intake coming off for some reason, i can't have that happen where I live or i'll suck in tons of sand! I want to stick with a black one, plastic is fine with me.

I have the JLT and so far so good. Its supported by a bracket and there is a heat shield. It's not as pretty the C&L but its cheaper and works just as well maybe a hair better. I think the one person who had their JLT come off was due to poor install, not the actual quality of the intake.

Thanks, I just ordered it from Brenspeed. Is that where you got yours? I'm wondering what tunes come with the package?

I think the issues were with the series 1 jlt. I have one I picked up from brenspeed along with the sct and 3 tunes ...It really woke the car up . You will get 3 tunes depending on what octane is available in your area . I got a 87..91 and 93 tune and run the 93

i have a jlt 2 and its good i didnt get a bracket with mine. the tune for 93 will wake your car up a lot.i would get the colored one i got the black one for my friend and i was not impressed with it.

I'm not even sure I can get 93 in my town. I might have to stick with the 91.
