Default Just a few questions...

First of all, would the C&L AIR INTAKE WITH SCT X-CAL 2 package from brenspeed void my warranty in any way, shape or form???

Also, upon receiving the SCT tuner how does it work??? Does it just come with different tunes on it already and u choose which one to use or what???

Im pretty new to this stuff and would really appreciate the help...Thanks for any responses...

To answer your question about the warranty, yes it will technically void the warranty. Now there are a couple of catches to this. Most dealers will not void your warranty just from a simple intake and you can always restore back to stock tune with your tuner (so u dont have to tell them about that).

Yes the, tuner comes with canned tunes on it already, although i believe brent at brenspeed will make a somewhat custom tune based on what you have on the vehicle. You will get a truly custom tune only by putting the car on a dyno and getting all the vehicle data and having your tuner custom make you a tune. its the best thing to do after you've completed all your mods. Also, you can give Brent at brenspeed a call about this stuff, he's quite knowledgable and really helpful.

um . . . it only voids the warranty if it was the reason a problem/breakage occurred . . .

otherwise. . . if the window won't roll down. . . they won't refuse to fix because of a CAI and tune . . .

now you throw a rod, w/ CAI and tune. . . don't expect them to fix it. . . :-)
