Kick ***! So my V6 has a 3.31 stock so if I go to a 4.10 I should knock up the RPM's about 600 right? This is just an estimate. You guys kick *** I wish the Mustang GT owners around here were as cool as you guys but oh well. I try to wave and they keep going like a bunch of ********.

I've seen that most current Mustang drivers of either the GT or the V6 version seem ignorant of what they own. You wave as you go by and most look back as they they're wondering what you're smoking. It's rare that I get a wave back. Recently more women seem to wave back than men, which didn't use to be the case. One had a very nice new white Saleen as she turned left at the light and was going around me she looked, smiled and waved. That was cool, plus she was hot as hell so while my car made her smile I'll take a smile from a hot woman any day of the week!

Now that I think about it, maybe they're just being nice to the old guy.... I digress....who cares??

Yea I totally agree! But around here it makes GT owners look bad because the only ones that have ever waved to me or waved back were V6 owners. Of course where I live there IS a bunch of snobby people but after seeing the post about V6's being enemies and seeing all of you guys' responses I was real happy to see that. But if anyone has anymore info on their 4.10 gear PLEASE share with me!! Thanks alot guys!

In a week or so I'll have my 4.10's installed, I'll post impressions the day I get it done, if possible I'm getting dyno'd the same day so I'll post that as well.

Where I live, on beachside, there is another black GT vert identical everything to mine, a v6 vista blue with a pony package, and a refire coupe GT. We always see eachother driving around and always wave or give some type of "what's up" gesture. The only Mustang around my little town that gives us a problem is a dark blue 2002-04 v6 convertible with some sh!tty ricer body kit who thinks he is the baddest thing alive. To bad for him I refuse to race him in a 35mph zone. People like that give 6'ers a bad name

I love all Mustangs, especially the new GTs and V6s. I will always give a hearty up thumb to any V6 driver out there. I kinda feel bad about it though, I tend to empathize too much and I wish that all Mustangs were GTs just so all of us could have the same fun.

Oh no please don't take it as that I was LMAO and thought what a great way to open the message. I take no offense at all, but thanks.
Thanks for the notticing it thou.
I have nothing but love for fellow (and ladies) Mustang owners and I'm glad most others see it the same way.

As one of the ASSHATs I try not to cut off other cars period but I really try to give lots of respect to any Mustang owner. It is a great thing we have going here with the Mustang family. It is a great car and huge loyalty. I do see some of the older models GT owners smack the new S197 crowd for buying the V6 but who cares, I love my car!
rmays06, I was not calling you an asshat. Just some of the V6 drivers in Tampa/Lakeland, FL.

i was the owner of a 99 v6 as it was my first car. Loved every single moment i was in it and would was it every week, go out in it etc. I got it when i was 17 and kept it for 2 and a half years. Worked my *** off to buy a car. Then saw a great deal on an 03 gt and made the deal to buy it and sell my 99 v6.

People i think dont have problems with v6s its the people that drive them and think theyre hot ****. Like a couple months ago some nasty green colored v6 mustang with "dubs" and some loud as music cuts me off pretty bad. so i meet up with him at the next light and put him in his place . Theres no greater feeling than doing that especially cuz a girl was with him.
