RE: California Special?
Went to my dealer a few weeks back for service and was talking crap to my sales guy. He's pretty cool, anyway he drove me around back and showed me one up close. Not bad at all, small details that I think only a Mustang owner would notice but nice ones none the less. If I remember correctly, a side stripe, some kinda side scope by the door, different rear valance and a different front(probably the best thing) Also has heated two tone leather seats. they were really nice as well. All else is the same. Now that I think about it the seats looked really good up close. The ones I saw were blk and grey. The heated thing is pretty cool I think. I think they wanted 2 to 3 grand more.

The stock hood scoop seemed kinda small and too low. Actually, I thought it sat 10-12 inches below the top of the hood and it made it look odd...IMO.

There's a whole forum for the GT/CS here:
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/forumdisplay.php?f=119
Lots of pics.
The package includes unique front and rear fascias, side scoops, side stripes and black/ parchment or black/ dove interior with black seats and trim color seat inserts. The Comfort Group so far is mandatory with the CS package, that includes heated seats and electrochromic mirror. Technically the Comfort Group is not included with the CS package, but right now you can't get the CS package without it. Available colors are vista blue, redfire, white and black.
There have been a lot of reports that the CS is 1-1/2" lower than a GT. This is NOT true. The CS has the exact same suspension. The confusion came from some early Ford brochures that were actually referring to the front fascia being lower, but made it sound like the whole car was.

Saw three or four at a dealer as well. I too thought the front was the best part. I did not like the side scoops or the stripes though.
