Default parts advice

I have a friend with a 2005 Gt mustang, auto, with a CAI, trottle body, xpipe, and mufflers.
He is looking to add another performance part, but is not sure on what i want to add. He has $500 At the moment to spend on parts/labor. What would you recommend getting? He is not at all interested in putting his car on the bottle.

Any help is appreciated
Thanks

With that auto I would for sure go get 4.10 gears, not questions asked. It will really wake up the car and will be the best bang for the buck.

He looked into them, but i don't think he could find parts+install for less than $500.

Also from what i heard 3.73's are better for auto, but i may very well be mistaken

Agreed. You don't mention a tuner. Doing a Diablo or XcalII tune would make a BIG difference. The other thing that he should do won't cost anything. Throw away the T/B and put the OEM one back on the car.

i didn't know you could tune the car without one of those. . .

my local racing shop needed the SCT or DiabloSport interface to do any tuning to our car. . . maybe thats just them though

its my car and yes the throttle body is going away today, it already put my car into failsafe mode because the throttle got stuck open somehow, so puttin the oem one back on, the only prob is the 500 bucks i spent on the tb im gonna see if they will return it
