Very Doubtful

if anything was gonna messed up, you would have known it right away btw

if you haven't had it tuned . . . it would have hit the stock rev limiter, which prevents stuff like that

You're fine. The car has a built in rev-limiter and speed limiter for just such a reason (unless you have a hand held tuner and cancelled or moved them.)

If you want to know what it feels like to hit the rev limiter, after the car has had time to warm up and you've driven it a bit. Put it in neutral and slowly press the gas. When you reach around 3500-4000 RPM the needle will start bouncing and the engine will start cutting out.

If you hit the rev limiter on accident every once in a while you're fine. I just wouldn't recommend doing it all the time. As the engine gets older, you're more like to do what's called 'floating' a valve. Not a good thing.

If you're driving in 5th on the highway and you miss 3rd and go in 1st then you're screwed. The rev limiter won't help you.

I would love to see the tranny let you drop into first from 5th at highway speeds, would be an awesome explosion.

when you at high speed, tranny will not let you drop to 1st.. unless you push it VERY hard.

Tranny shoots out of the car and takes your back axel out, sending you into a spin.
