hey all, my brother got me a **** for my b-day, and the boot falls down. is there a special retainer that can slide on so the boot doesnt slide down?
anyone have this problem? let me know? cause the **** looks pretty sweet, but i really cant live with the boot falling all the time

try to figure out why it stayed up on the factory **** and try to convert from the stock **** over to the new one. . . thats all i know to do

I wrapped my shifter handle with black self adhesive velcro until the boot would fit snug against it, I then wrapped it a couple times with electrical tape to hold it snug. With the boot sliped over the velcro and tape you never know it's there and it has yet to fall down.

I just purchased a new shift ****, waiting on it's arrival. Anyhow, I think it says that it comes with a retainer for the shift boot. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure.
