I was referring to the 99 and 01 Cobra sans blower not the 03-04 Cobra.......

I havent had any problems with Mach 1's with my set up. Even with the ones at the track running 4.10's and DR's, I usually catch them by the 1/8 and slowly pull after that.

I don't know this for a fact, but isn't the Mach1 4.6L 4V engine essentially the same as the 4.6L 4V in the 1999 and 2001 Cobras? Those Cobras are rated at 320 bhp not 305 like the Mach. Or is there some difference in the intake manifold or something?

Also my understanding is that Machs redline up at 6800 rpm which gives them a few hundred more rpm to run through in 1st gear, and there is the weight advantage of the Mach as already stated.
yes and yes, but the mod motors fall flat above 6k rpms
