Default intake tube

has anyone taken off the intake muffler on the bottom side of the stock inlet?if so what ar u using in its place?any difference?[sm=badidea.gif][sm=goodidea.gif]

??? Intake muffler??? Are you talking about the emissions trap inside the intake of an early 2005 model? If so, deep six it for a few free ponies.

Yeah, if that's what you're talking about, I lost mine about a week after I bought the car. That was about 1 1/2 years ago. No problems whatsoever.
