RE: Steeda Magnuson Supercharger!
Ok, got pretty far along today with all the misc engine compartment items... Finished up all the vacumm lines, fuel and electrical... Tomorrow will install the intercooler and it's pump and filler neck, along with the pumps electrical hookup... Then will top off the cooling system with new antifreeze, 75/25 (Water/Coolant) and some Purple Ice; then the same mix goes into the intercooler for the supercharger... One last final inspection and a new flash before I start her up, then a slow 60 mile drive to Steeda and a couple hours of dyno tuning before the fun begins...

Must be nice to have your Mustang paid off Cortc lol
I noticed with the Magnuson you don't have to move the alternator. With the Saleen you have to move it and it faces backwards on the driver side. No biggy though

RE: Steeda Magnuson Supercharger!
Ok, finished up last night and went over to Steeda today and put her on the dyno for her final tune... Here are the stats...
Steeda CAI
FRPP Shorty Headers
FRPP X-Pipe
FRPP Borla Racing CAT-Backs
Steeda Magnuson Supercharger w/ SCT Custom Tune!
Air Temp: 95 F
Sealevel
RWHP: 425.37
RWTQ: 385.87
The above numbers were the goal with the stock block, you can get more and some are running higher numbers with stock internals; however I wanted rock solid reliability and do not want the colateral damage of a blown engine. The next major mod will be a forged/bored lower end/ported heads with a heavy duty clutch and 6 speed/aluminum one piece driveshaft. Once those are installed will upgrade the fuel pump with a new pulley running at 10-12 PSI for 675+ RWHP...
We picked a safe tune, there was more to be had with timing, A/F was 12.0 across the RPM range; I am installing a X-Pipe with high flow cats on Friday that should net 8-10 more HP and about the same amount of torque without compromising the safety of the tune we picked... I am very pleased with the outcome and abviously the performance is awsome... When it gets colder down here in Florida in the fall that should help as well...
The drivability is great, It is better than before, which was also very good, and musch better than stock... The cool thing is that the torque curve is more like a line now with over 340+ FT-Lbs avialable from 2K RPM up; she actually very strong all the way from 1,200...
Will post more pics of the final install tomorrow...
We are doing another run after the CATS and I will post those numbers as well...
Last thing, she sounds wicked, the supercharger screams like a turbine...
