Default Squeaky Seat!!!

Guys,

I'm 6'2" about 215 and my seat has gotten real squeaky. Anybody else with this problem? I'm not the biggest guy nor the smallest, but I'm getting sick of hitting the gas and hearing a squeak every time.

Is this something that you can bring in under warranty?....or will I be laughed at by the dealership....(that will probably happen anyway)

Thanks fellers!

is it squeaking periodically like from your weight shifting in the seat due to motion? Does it only squeak when you perform a certain act? I don't think it's normal and the seat could be slightly off track, could have a warp, any # of things I'm sure. As for the dealership....let em laugh, make em fix it.

worth a shot at dealer. . .

if i were you, i'd be lookin under it with a can of DUBYA DEE FOURTY (WD-40) and have someone in the seat trying to make it squeek.

WD-40 is the shizzle when it comes to that crap. . .

IF is ain't movin and it should, WD-40, if its movin and shouldn't, Duck Tape!!! Get R don . . . HA HA

Haha. That's what I like to hear. Duct tape fixing my new GT. It's a squeak from the seat moving a little, so not sure if it is in the tilt part of the seat or at the base. I spose I could try some Dubb dee 40, but this is my first car under warranty......I wanna make them fix it. haha

Mine does it too. Not sure where it comes from but you hear it when the weight in the seat shifts.
