05 GT Starter shorted-out

Is Ford cutting corners with the starters. I maybe the first documented case.
I took my 05 GT. (27,000 MILES on her.) on a 100 mile trip and was parked for 2 hours.
Got back in my car and started it. It fired with slight whining noise, I thought
OH my god. turned key off. motor kept turning over pretty fast too. I couldn't
shut the car off. I tryed 3 times and had to turn the key back on right away
to fire it back up. I was visiting a car shop and ran and told one of the dude's.
I need to disconnect my battey my starter won't stop running. dude grabed a
pair of pliers and before trying to disconnect it. said try it one more time. I did and it shutoff. It had burned
the fuse after the 4 minutes it was running. 24 hr. road side to dealer.
2 day rental. car fixed. new started.(it shorted). and new fuse.
DAMM. !! I wanted to ask if made in mexico was stamped on the starter.
Heads up. My started had a pretty short life. didn't just burn out. it shorted-out
and it turned the motor over pretty fast and won't stop intill either it burned the fuse
or you disconnect the battery. Mine's an early 05 and it's been great. first and hopefully
only problem. Well I was looking at a 67 cougar and they had some nice restored mustang's
too. I thought my car must be pissed at me. LOL.
Well I hope nobody else gets this surprise too.:D[&:][:@]
