Default Stainless Works ?

I'm just curious if anyone has the Stainless Works setup and how good they are? I see they make headers, x-pipe, cat-back exhaust all with 3" pipe and is there a big advantage over the existing 2.5" pipe that the majority of companies offer? Any gains from going to 3" throughout the exhaust?

Default RE: Stainless Works ?

I put the Stainless Works Headers and high flow cats on my car. It lost some torque under 3500RPM but it picked up 11 HP on top. It sounds awesome with the stock mufflers. It's throaty, sounds like a race car wide open, but doesn't have any droan inside the car. I used the SCT tuner on a dyno. I didn't shut the after cat sensors off so the computer could be overriding the tuner, causing the torque loss down low. It was like we couldn't get the car rich enough under 4000RPM. Quality was outstanding with the product. Hope this helps.
