I have a question about my brake rotors. They are getting spots of rust on them but it's only an 05 with 15000 on it and the car is usually under a roof when im not driving it. Is this normal? If not what should I do?

My car had 413 miles on it, and it has rust on the rotors. Open, untreated metal will rust when it gets damp in less than 24 hours.

It's normal.

If the rotors freak you out, then you definitely don't want to look under the car at the rear end or at the crank pulley.

If your talking about the area where the brake pads hit then it is perfectly normal to see light rust there even after washing. Take it for a drive and the first time you apply the brakes the rust is gone...

Sonic ur exactly right, as soon I I drove for 3 minutes and looked it was gone. Thanks, I'm paranoid about my precious I want to keep her in prestine condition.

get nickel plated rotors and they wont rust.
