Everyday I fall more in love with my car. Huge problem though, this is a long term relationship not a one night stand, and I still don't know her name! What's the criteria for naming your car? I have never done it, is there a unwritten law I should know? And what's your babies name?

well first i named her eleanor because thats what i want her to look like after some time....and money...then i thought about it and its gonna take a long time for her to look like that and people would laugh because it doesnt look like her...im still thinking of a new name but right now its Musty.

I cringe everytime i hear someone address a car as "my baby" , or any given name. My ex used to do it all the time, which is part of the reason i dumped her... I usually address my car as "the car" and sometimes "my car." I can't even manage to say "my mustang" without feeling like a douche bag...[:'(]

I mean, no one says "hey, Jimmy, can you pass me my Motorola?" or "hey, Fred, did you turn off my Dell?"

same principle should be applied to cars, and any other non living thing, IMO.

The name that usually comes outta my mouth when referring to my car is along the lines of - fukin b!tch, *****, b!tch, ****, etc,etc.
