Anybody else interested in the 0%
I've got an 06 GT premium 5spd with the 18's. I've got just over 9k on it, and now ford comes out with 0%. I know it sounds stupid, but I'm thinking about trading in for a new 06 at 0%. Is anybody else giving this thought? or is it just me? What do you guys think my car should be worth on trade-in?

RE: Anybody else interested in the 0%
I just traded my 05 GT Deluxe coupe for an 06 GT Premium Vert and my payments are only $14 a month higher with the 0% for 72months. It was definitely a good deal for me. Now I get a vert with all the bells and whistles versus my coupe with cloth interior and base stereo. I'm very excited.

All the TV ads in SoCal say that the 0% does not apply to The GT model...so WTF? is the deal? I had been thinking about moving up to the 07.....and I might for 0%

email your dealer asking for a quote on your trade in, but don't expect to gain anything on this deal unless you have a terrible interest rate now. How much do you owe on your car and what are the options? I can give you the max trade in value off of kbb.com.

I took the liberty of looking up your trade-in value using my zipcode. Excellent condition is $24,275, good condition is $22,890. I wouldn't expect to get the excellent condition price since they are letting 06's go for pretty cheap.
Note that's with the premium sound and wheels plus the standard premium equipment like leather, if you have other options like side airbags or anti-theft it would be a little higher.

I went to the dealership yesterday and they said that my car with premium everything but shaker 1000 is worth 20k on trade. I was a little dissapointed. I understand the car business well as I sold cars for the last year of my life and they're selling their new mustangs at invoice. He says he can't have a used car on his lot for near what he's selling an 06 new one. I totally understand his point, but I think my car is still wholesaling around 22-23 or more. If that were the case, I would probably be in because my payment would be even lower. My big problem right now is that we put 15k down towards this mustang so we're not paying a whole lot of interest over 60 months. I'm at a pmt of 277 with 13500 owed as of yesterday. With as much as we put down, it's not making a whole lot of sense to do it right now.....especially with that low-ball trade-in offer. I was hoping to get a roush, but it seems that is a little out of the question.
