Just trying to highlight the other two factors. OP said it had been corrected for elevation. Heat has a large effect, humidity a smaller effect.

Which are included in that correction factor, if you look at two dyno pulls that are 5 minutes apart you will notice the correction factor changes because the temp and humidity fluctuate.

Ok it was a dynojet dyno. I was talking a lot with some specialist around here, and those numbers according to them are about right. I soon have my hellion turbo on. I thought I'd be the first with this kit, but there's one other guy, a friend of Mr. Urist's at hellion, who got his dynoed last weekend. He put down 428 whp, and 468 wtq. That was in an auto, and 5300 ft. They said with a five spd, it would be over 500 whp. Also, the hellion kit does not have an atmosperic bov, so keeping it a secret is easier. I'm hoping to get about the same number, but may be a little less due to my heavy wheels. Still would like to see sub 12's and a pretty quick 0-60. My last car was an wrx sti. How should this feel after install compared to that?

I hate to burst your bubble but Hellion is known for posting inflated numbers, the problem is they use a standard correction factor with their dyno numbers but that doesn't work with a turbo because a turbo will make the same boost if it is at sea level or 20k feet. I also highly doubt you will see 70 more HP because of your trans. I urge you to look at other options for the same money but have better potential because they come with larger turbos and have been proven for over a year. Several other kits have bypass valves instead of blow off valves, I assure you it can still be heard and more importantly you can hear the turbo spool up.

To late, I already bought it, and is already being installed. I'm not looking for numbers like you. I drive this everyday, and may go to the track once a year. I don't want any more than 430 whp. Hellion is located like 10 minutes from me to, so if I have any issued, I can contact them driectly face to face. It was either this, or the sallen blower. This is an shorter, and easier intall. I can always upgrade to a bigger turbo to, which supports 850 whp. Thanks thoiugh man.

He guys. So I dynoed my mustang that weekend, and I do have the yunable intake, and sct from brenspeed, and only made 250 whp, and 265 wtq. What is going on? My car has 2200 miles, has been babied, and to my knowledge should be making much more power. I live in Albuquerque NM. I do have heavier 20 inch wheels, but don't think it should have that much affect. Any ideas guys? Our elevation here is 5000 feet, but my dyno run was supposeldy adjusted for elevation. Thanks in advance. Ps Our cars are supposed to be making 260-265 wheel hp stocl right? So I should be at least at 280. Whats goin on?
I live in Denver, the mile high city. When I got my dyno numbers, it was disappointing as well. I talked to Brent about it and he said that the car is going to pull timing and such with the altititude and all. The numbers will be significantly lowered. When the dyno's adjust for elevation, there is error involved. My dyno adjusted 23%. The more adjustments, the more error. If you can, hook up your SCT to a labtop and datalog the info and ship it to Brent.

only 265 torque??? that seems really low for a new GT i would of thought, my 96 GT is putting 244 rwtq and its about bone stock, and i too also have 20" rims.

Hey,
When you say look for options for the same money but have better potential? What do you mean. Isn't the Power House turbo $500 more than the helion? For that extra $500 couldn't he upgrade to a bigger turbo if he wanted to? I'm considering buying the hellion kit too. Tell me why the PowerHouse is a better kit? Yes it's proven but so is Hellion as far as putting Turbo kits. Hellion has been making turbo kits for a long time. They have had a ton of success with the 03-04 terminators making a TON of power. They also have Bassini making all the piping for the 05 kit. Bassini probabbly make some of the best exhaust sytems out there so you know they have good quality piping. I've compared install manuals of both PowerHouse and hellion and I think the hellion kit looks a little cleaner. Dont get me wrong I'm just fishing for information. I havent bought a kit yet but I have decided on getting a Turbo. The question is which one. Also I've talked to three local mustang shops in my area and each one of them mentioned Hellion nobody said anything about power house. I just keep getting signals that point to Hellion but let me know what you really think.

1quickshortbus - Do you have dyno graphs for your turbo. Hellion has some on their site, it would be nice to compare. It sounds like yours may be coming on at a considerably lower rpm which would be good for the street.

Thanks
