Ktownstang, the closest track I came up with to OK city was Altus. Track elevation is 1382 above sea level, which if you took the weather in to account for today, 80 deg's,barometer 30.18, dw point 66deg, dnsity altitude would be approx. 3030 'above sea level. As a general rule for each 150 feet of density alt is worth .01. Then whatever you you run at Altus today you could subtract 2 enths of a second to get a general idea of what you would have run at sea level conditions. Ther is more to it than that, but that should give you a general idea.

Hey Wally, seeing a s197 in the low to mid 12's rocks, but you have a S/C and should be in the low 12's. Not knockin' you at all. Probably just getting a feel for the car right now and I understand that.............I did some ballpark calculations for your track. Your Density alt should be in the neiborhood of 1880 feet for the wx fri night. Track elevation is 632 feet. Your time corrected for sea level conditions should be about 12.4 @ 109 . Wally, with a supercharger you should be getting much better than that, that's why guys were asking the questions. Great time yes, but we should see more from a S/C'd S197 even with street tires.

your 60 ft is right on for street tires though. . . the air temp and humidity will play a big role in your times as well,

sometimes its just the track. . . you might wanna try another one

also, how deep are you staging in the lights. . . if don't stage deep at all, you can get a better time usually. . . gotta take off a bit earlier or the R/T will suffer(i usually do a shallow stage and take off when the 3rd yellow is fully lit)
