GT Turbos, in here please?
I was just wondering a few things....
Are you single or double turbo?
If Single, how has it affected the sound of your car?
Where/how is the turbo mounted?
What kind of gains @ what PSI?
How is the exhaust run from the headers?
Intake placement?
A link, perhaps?
I ask because a few friends of mine (helicoptor mechanics) are looking to start building some homebrew turbo setups, and if they are successful on their testbed car I'm in-line for a $1500ish intercooled setup (I get it at cost.) We'd push only around 5 or 6 PSI to start, but that ought to make me happy for that kind of money.
Any thoughts?
