How & what tune do I purchase? I already installed a K&N cai (wish I'd bought a "tune & cai" package, but I didn't).

Now what do I do?

Get yourself an SCT tuner. Find a reputable tuner, and get yourself a custom tune!

sell the K&N on Ebay and get yourself a package from brenspeed or evolution or bamachips. . .

When the magazine did the test of something like a dozen intakes, they only picked up 3hp when they added a tune to the K&N. It was designed to be used without a tune. If you want more you need to get a better intake. It's cheap and convenient, but not meant to go with a lot of mods. If you want to get serious you need the C&L or the JLT

I talked to Brent and Brenspeed yesterday and am going with the K&N along with one of his tunes. He has tested this cai with his tunes and said it dyno'ed within a couple of hp of everybody else. I've always been well pleased with K&N products so I decided to go with them. Give him a call and I bet he could hook you up.

I have the K&N intake and I got my tune from Bamachips. I couldn't be happier. I got the tune several months after the intake. I've also heard really good things about Brent.

I just bought the SCT from Brenspeed today and Brent contacted me to get my car information and what kind of tune's I was lookin for. I also have K&N CAI and it does great. Brenspeed said they could do my tunes using the K&N with not problem. Should be shipped out tomorrow. I will post back results soon.

Based on the camparisions you guys read.. what kind of increases are they seeing with the K&N w/out the tune?

I can't really say. Never had it on a dyno.....yet.
Some say 15-30 hp gain????? Don't know about that.
It did make a big difference on my 06 GT though.
