My brother said he seen a puff of black smoke come out my exhaust when I got on it going down the 1/4 mile track. I have noticed my exhaust tips are pretty dirty. Do you think my car is running rich? Or is this normal?

Did you just recently put those Borla stingers on? I was reading some documentation to corsa exhaust systems and it says that any smoke coming out of the exhaust right after you install them is normal. It is machining oil left inside the muffler from manufacturing that is burning. It should go away, nothing dangerous.

Keep an eye on it... if your tailpipes are black, chances are you be running rich...

+1 , although when i recently raced a bone stock 650i, it blew some black smoke also. Some smoke is normal.

Normal as long as it's not blue smoke.
