if u drop a frog into boiling water, he'll jump right out. but if u put him in and slowly heat the water, he'll boil to death.

And you know this how? j/k.

I've been wanting to get some UDP's, but don't know the effects on the battery since I raise and lower the top a lot.

Get'em and raise the idle rpm by 200 and you will see no problems. . .

if idle is around 650 on normal GT, 25% reduction puts the stuff turning about 170 rpms slower, bump it up 200, and your safe,

besides, only worries for UDP's are when the car is idleing or at <800rpms, besides that, it doesn't hurt car at all

sitting in place and idling may cause the car to get too hot, most ppl don't do that, but if you set still for about 20 min in hot weather, it may overheat. . . i personally wouldn't do this if i didn't have the pullies

UDP are in my future, I just hope to find someone selling them for cheap (Someone getting a supercharger). 250 is just too much.

The day you take them back off and drive you will remember the difference and want them back! You just get use to the feel with them.

Kinda like when you got a little brother/sister living with you, you dont notice them growing. Let them go away to camp for the summer and return and your like " your getting taller/bigger" They did not grow any faster its just you had to not see them for a while to notice.

You have to not have the udp's again to remember what it felt like before you had them.

My .02
I am not arguing your point, Its just I didnt notice any difference in performance/driveability after they were installed. I have already spent the money, so they will stay under the hood.

American Mussle4--Ahhh yes, I know it well. Brings back memories....

RED121572--- Ohhh, I see what your saying now. Not to put a bad thought in your head but, are you sure they changed them? I know this guy who went to a shop to get them put in and they left the stock ones on and just gave him back the new ones with an oil smudge on them. The only reason he found it out was #1 he did not notice any change at all and #2 he later saw the name brand of the pullies when he looked at them one day in the dirty box. It could not have been changed because the "old ones" were the new pulley brand and that could not have been because he had a brand new car with stock everything. Well this and the fact that when he went back to the shop 2.5 weeks later they were closed down and empty. Thought that was a pretty clear sign for him.

Oh well, time for me to go see the Wicker man....later

DO IT. I just installed the MotoBlue UD, water pump, and idler pulley today and love them. Just in time to kill a 350Z in every gear from a stoplight. It is soo much more responsive.

Took me 2 hours, but if I had to do again could do in about 1 hour. For the most part I used the link below. MotoBlue sends you a new bolt for the alternator, don't cut it off.

I did not notice ANY rise in tempature and I was on it all day today and it was 85 and humid.

I'm going to be ordering UD pulleys soon but i was looking at the MOTOBLUE and Steeda and maybe im just a newb but why does the MOTOBLUE have 3 pulleys and the Steeda only have 2?? Does that third pulley really make much of a difference then the stock one?
