Weight savings in driveline components is no joke either. Reducing rotating weight is fantastic. People are seeing +10-15 RWHP on the dyno after swapping the OEM driveshaft for an aluminum one, for example.

I say dont worry about it too much. I wanted mine without the shaker 1000 as I thought it was just too much mass to add. I am happy the car I found doesent have it as it makes a pretty big weight difference.

An aquaintance of mine went to the track and his was 3650 with him in it and a shaker 1000 with 1/4 tank if fuel. He is real thin though, maybe 160 lbs at the most.
