Wheel sizes visited again!
I have been reading this forum for the past week trying to decide on the size chrome Bullitts I want for my 06 GT Prem Vert. I know I want the deep dish. I know I want chrome. I know I want the same size all around. I am leaning towards the 18 X 10 with 275/40-18 tires. Does anyone have this size, and if so, do you have any pics? Is there any rubbing issues with this size? If so, then I will go with the 18 X 9's with 255/45-18 tires. Any info, advise, and opinions welcome. THANKS!!

RE: Wheel sizes visited again!
I just ordered the chrome GT500 18x9.5 with 275/40 tires, they should be here Thursday, so I can answer first hand next weekend. I also have the Eibach pro springs installed on my car, currently running the stock 18in fanblades, you didn't mention if your car was on stock springs or not. My only concern (with me car) was a 9.5 inch wheel on the front of the car, I have noticed that most bullitt combo's are using a 9in wheel on the front and 10in on the rear, usually a 255 tire on the front and 275/285 on the rear.

Everything is stock on the car, as I just purchased it. I noticed the 9" and 10" combo's, but my concern was tire rotation. I am a little ignorant when it comes to this. Maybe the tires that I bought do not need to be rotated. i have no idea!! I bought the tires that were recommended for the rim from Mustangtuning.com. These tires are directional, so that is what made me a little confused. I placed the order late last night, so I am sure I can call them in the morning and ask them to change something around.

the saleens are 20x9 up front and 20x10 in the rear. pretty much all tires are directional. even if tires are directional though you still need to rotate them because the camber makes the inside of the tire harder on the ground then the outside of the tire. also the reason people usually go with wider tires in the rear then in the front on rwd cars is that a wider tire results in more traction which helps launches.

I don't think i'd want a 275 tire in the front. Even if it doesn't rub at full turn, which it probably will, it might cause other steering/handling problems. If you can't afford to not rotate your tires then get the 255/45/18's and don't worry about it.

RE: Wheel sizes visited again!
My ride is 07 Must. GT. I have the deep dish bullit wheels from mustangtuning. Im running 18x9 in front with 255/45/18 and 18x10 with 285/40/18 in back. I do not get any rubbing in front, but had to use a small spacer up front for clearance on my Wilwood big brake kit. I highly suggest the wheels from mustangtuning. There awsweme and haven't really seen them anywhere else. Car is in shop for major mod list including these wheels. I'll be posting a lot of pics within about 6 days.
