Default Throttle Body Spacer

I am thinking about getting one of these and in my research I have found there are mixed reviews. Who has these and what are your guys opinions or performance #'s after the install? Also what are some of your pros and cons.

I'm curious myself they are cheap and I'm always about cheap or free HP.

I hear they will give you ok gains like 5 hp, but if you have Intake headers exhaust you will get better gains.
And it makes a whistle sound like a turbocharger, I've heard them before. Sounds awsome

I heard no gain on new mustangs. Heard they were good on old cars but since newer cars kind of have it built in, thus little to no gains.

From my understanding all the spacer did was add some room for the air to straighten out and flow smoother and faster. I imagine for the cost, car makers could easily for probably a dollar, add their own in. A few extra free horsepower is always a selling incentive.
