Just Received C&L CAI . . Questions
Just received C&L CAI in mail with SCT Xcalibrator 2 from Evolution Performance. Couple of things. 1) the filter has bled red fluid through box, not an alarming amount, but is this normal? 2) There is no packing list (so how do I know before I get it apart if I have everything)? 3) How do I know that they actually sent the right tune for my car's computer?

1) Normal
2) You should have received install instructions. Go through them and see if you're missing any parts.
3) Faith!!! Evo Perf has been doing this for some time, so I'm sure it's good to go, however, hiccups do happen. Once you get the CAI installed, load the tune. Start her up and take her for a spin. Don't get on it, just drive moderate and see if you throw any codes, hear any pinging or detonation, or anything that feels out of the ordinary. Once she's warmed up, get on her. Go WOT and listen for the same stuff. If you're concerned, you can always go to a dyno and have them test the A/F ratio to make sure you're right where you need to be.
