Maybe Ford should rethink the 4.6 stuff and just start placing the 5.4 in all of their GT's. Then the "specialty cars" can simply add the Whipple S/C and maybe some different heads to them, slap on a Cobra badge and call it a day.

I'm curious... why put a SC on if all you are going to go for is 4 PSI? Seems like a waste of time to me...

Yeah, I would agree with you there.... why settle for a mere 4psi? However, I would be cautious as to how much boost you run at.....on a stock motor. No sense in blowing the damn thing up

It is all in the tuning. I have the same Saleen SC... but I am running 10 psi. If you are paying for a custom dyno tune, why not get as much out of it as you can? I sure did...

My car is now scary. I am not tracking it. Hell, I drive it to work every day.

Because I want the bottom end in my engine to last a lifetime.

I know I missed the Saleen S/C GB.....but who is offering the best deal on the Saleen S/C kit these days?

Sorry for the hijack.....but my question fits the thread topic.

I think you be happy with any supercharger. I got mine for $4500 from haneymotorsport.com and I think THR offers the best deal as well. keep in ming that forthe stock set up I did spend another 1k on supporting parts like matched injectors, headers, maf, cai, etc..
