Default How wide on stock rims
How wide of tire can I go on my stock rims? Can I go 275 or will it look like a donut?

Sure they do! Just not on the stock wheels.

Those stripes look gorgeous on your car, can you post a few pictures? I want to get some stripes on my Tungsten.[sm=drooldude.gif]

You can do 275's on the stock rim, it just looks like crap in my opinion....I saw a car with 275....but don't remember the sidewall measurement....It was on the stock 17" rim, and had alot of sidewall "pooch"

I think the problem why I didn't like the 275s on the stock rim was because the guy was running a low profile...like 35 or something....that profile (50) looks pretty good tho

Maybe it cause they're truck tires but those 275/50/17 have a bit too much side wall for my taste. I'm thinking of going 275/40/17 of whatever will maintain a 27" tire height.
