Does anyone have that combo? Or does anyone have any input on if it would work good or just be a waste of time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cool,.....So one question about the hole in the hood and water....Does the hole seal up when the hood is down or is there room for debris and water to fall into the engine compartment??
I still would like to know if anyone has that combo??.......

I have the Shaker system. I installed it myself.
The cold air return from the hood scoop is delivered via the back end of the stock air box. You'd need to modify your CAI divider to accommodate the air intake of the scoop just like I had to with the factory airbox. It means cutting a 3" hole in the back wall of the air box for the scoop cold air delivery.
You can see the cold air port on the drivers side of the motor.
As for sealing. See above. There is a shroud that should seal up close enough to the trim of the hood opening to keep debris out. The shroud also has a channel that contains four drain holes close to each corner on the sides of the scoop shroud. They take water that may collect in the opening. Each drain hole has a 14" or so hose attached to it. They run down the sides of the motor and drain the water down through the engine compartment.

I would only buy from here.
http://www.americanmuscle.com/2005-g...er-system.html
But call them and tell them you have a better price and they will beat it and still give you free shipping. I had mine in less than a week. I also ordered sequencial turn signal kit at the same time and they gave me a nice discount on that without even asking for it. They will treat you right.
