Default coolant leak

Ever since I installed my s/c I have had a small coolant leak from under it. When I first put it on and tried to fill the coolant it leaked out (a lot) everywhere. I took it apart and put it back down and it stopped for about 2 to 3 weeks. Last night I pulled my car into the garage and it was dripping a bit and I noticed the level was down in the resevoir. I looked at it this morning and it stopped again. My local "Saleen" dealership won't look at it because I put it in myself. I really don't want to tear everything apart again....any suggestions?

Default RE: coolant leak

If you don't "tear it apart" you'll never fix it. Something's wrong with your install.

Default RE: coolant leak

I don't know about the Saleen install, but with the KB I got a replacement crossover casting. You may have pinched one of the O-rings or maybe a piece of debris where it bolts down.

When coolant leaks there it will run out the drain at the rear of the engine. Does your leak drip back by the clutch or in front of the engine?

Did you have the heater hoses off?
