Default 2005-07 MUSTANG CMCV DELETE

http://www.pmpparts.com/index.php?ma...products_id=24 Does anyone know what hp this will add? Is this similar to the STEEDA CHARGE MOTION DELETE PLATES? I have S/C so the extra air would be great. What is the difference b/t the 2? Can I get both or 1 or the other?

These parts are basically identical to the Steeda piece, except that they are less expensive. Functionally they are the same. You can't use both. It would be one or the other.

They are worth about 10 RWHP, and you MUST have a special tune to go with them.

I did mine last weekend, it took about an hour and a half to install, and I got the special tune from Brenspeed. I was pleased--it's worth it if you ask me. I wouldn't do it at "Steeda Prices", but for $85 it's a different story!

By the way, if you have a screw blower on your car then you don't need this mod. The screw blower manifold already removes the CMCM system. If you have a centrifugal blower like a Paxton or Vortech, then this is a great mod however!

These plates aren't that difficult to put in. I have very little experience in modding, and I put them in all by myself. I installed them last weekend in fact with a bamachips tune designed for the deletes. When I saw them on sale for $90 I couldn't resist.

LOL, I just sent you a PM about this over at Mighty Mustang. Guess you don't have to answer it.

HA! I didn't know you posted over here. I am just making my late night rounds on the forums. Anyway, it feels like my car pulls better in the upper rpm range, but I'm not sure how well you can feel ~10 rwhp anyway. I will tell you I noticed ZERO loss in the bottom end, but I am thinking I lost about 1 mpg.....I will pay more attention to my gas mileage to verify that though.
