New Block & Internals on the way...
Well I ordered my new block and forged pistons, rods and crank today along with all of the other misc pieces required for my new short block... It will be a bored 5.0 based on a stock aluminum 4.6, once everything arrives it goes to the machine shop to be put together...
Should have all the parts in a couple weeks then it will take the shop about 4 weeks to complete... While I am waiting need to order an aluminum flywheel, heavy duty clutch and I decided while I have everything out to have the heads ported as well... I will also be doing the 6 speed and new drive shaft at the same time...
Will be doing everything myself except the short block, that will be done by the machine shop... Plan on being done by Christmas...
After the build a new pulley to run 12-16 psi and a new fuel pump / better coils and spark delivery along with some dyno tuning... The goal is 650-675 RWHP and 600-650 RWTQ = 750 HP/700 FT-Lbs at the crank... Then a 150 shot of NOS for extra insurance...
That will be close to 900 HP...
Will post pics and dyno runs when she is complete...

Holy **** yo! Sounds like some serious work and a killer project!
Definitely keep us posted and post the pictures during the process. I wish I had the time to do a build like that.... ahhh, some day
