If you're into carbon fiber Seibon makes a CD-Style hood that resembles the California Dreaming hood.

I saw it on ebay a while back. I think they run about $780.00 + shipping.

Seibon does not have that hood on their website. It was only featured on ebay and speednstyles website. I couldn't find it after a week or so.
I think it was only one made and that may be one lucky sob that got it.
Hands down 100 times better than rk's as it was made of cf.

If anyone can still find a link where they sell the seibon one please let me know

I noticed that the site recommends hood pins for this one. Which functional hood pins are the best?

Is there a benefit, other than lighter weight, of the carbon fiber hood versus fiberglass?

Carbon fiber will hold it's shape better over time. Fiberglass has more of a tendency to warp.

The hood was NOT a limited production it just came out. Check with www.CarbonLimited.com I have Mustang hoods in stock..including the one mentioned. They run around $700 SHIPPED in the lower 48.
