Default BBK Cold Air Kit HELP!!!!

ok, so my dad finally got into the modding world of his 06. anyway, im not too great with EFI engines so maybe you 05/06/07 owners can help.

Okay... Finally got on-board with Mustang modifications. Was waiting for the Ford Warranty to come due. Regardless, I am having SERIOUS problems <grr..>.

Purchased a BBK Cold Air Kit (polished) from LoneStar Performance in Dallas. Installed - looks great. They didn't have their laptop available to program an new SCT for my vehicle. Was going to wait, but someone said "you have to program now as it will be too lean..".

Went to Dallas Mustang - picked up an xCal-II 9400. Dallas Mustang loaded a file called 'bbk_cai_gyx1' and sent me on my way. I loaded the tune per instructions.

Problem: The car runs absolutely TERRIBLE, and the "wrench indicator" illuminates on the dash by the speedometer when I get over 5 MPH. The fault code was P061B (not a typo - it had a B). I redid the entire flash, and had the same results. Tried it a third time - still runs terrible. Loaded the stored 'stock image', and the car runs good.

My concerns - I am probably running too lean with the stock tune. Dallas Mustang is closed. I am traveling Monday AM through Thursday PM. What do I do??

Can someone please send me a file to load so I can safely drive my vehicle until I return from this trip? The only modifications I have done is the BBK Cold Air Intake, and the Flow Masters exhaust.

My e-mail Claircom at Yahoo.com [sorry - don't know if we can post e-mail address' in this area].

Thanks in advance~!
thanks guys, you can post answers on here and ill get them to him ASAP, or email him too, thats fine.

He should have gotten the tune from the place he got the CAI. In fact, the best way is to buy them together. Until then, best thing he can do is replace his stock intake and flash back to stock.

Although I personally don't trust any CAI on these cars that say they don't req a tune, I think BBK said that their CAI will run without a tune. Try it that way. I'm sure you could tune it for the CAI but you may have to get it dyno tuned to get the A/F ratio right.
