Everyone around here is anti-throttle body spacer. I held a poll a while ago and most of the people say they are a waste of money.

I think I'm going to be the guinea pig on this and get one and compare it to my track times to see if it improves my ET or my trap speed. For $97 this could be a potentially easy/cheap power adder.

They greatly improve throttle response if you get a good one, and ofcourse add some HP (more if you are using FI). Also the enternals of the aftermarket are not plastic like the stock TB gears are.

I doubt you are going to get a good one for $97. My cousing payed $500 for his and now b/c money issues (he just moved out for college) he is selling for $300.

You are a complete fool if you would pay $500 for a small piece of metal. The JET Performance throttle body spacer is one of the "best" out there and you can pay $150ish from the JET site or you can go third party for $97.

JET TBS

I think you may be talking about a throttle body for $500, and even that would still be a rip off.

I think you all are confused, The first poster was asking for a Throttle Body SPACER which are typically around $100.

The ones that are claiming around $500, the BBK and Granatelli are the actual Throttle Body.
