powerhouse turbo
Now I know this most likely was talked about before but I just have a few questions to ask.....1) I know a lot of people go with the saleen blower but I want something a little different like a turbo.. Are turbos safe for an everyday driver? What k,inda number can I put down safely on stock internals? Any any infor ppl have from experiences would be much appreciated... thanks in advance guys!

RE: powerhouse turbo
1) Yes
2) Around the same power levels as any other forced induction method. |
RE: powerhouse turbo
Not to mention on turbo you dont have any belts brakes as you do with a s/c setup. Always remember a s/c takes hp to make hp, unlike a turbo ;). Turbo is the most reliant form of power adder there is point end of story. Why do you think they are like 10x more turbo cars than they are s/c cars.

RE: powerhouse turbo
well on our side the best turbo car( rygen) is running low 12s and the fastest s/c car is running high 12s but on street tires so possible mid 12s. i dunno if that helps o_O turbo is at lower boost as well. rygen uses the ph turbo also.

RE: powerhouse turbo
not that I have the PH kit, but I'm with turbo and am running in the 9's on 28" slicks.

RE: powerhouse turbo
Just remember superchargers take hp to make hp; turbo's don't. Naturally a turbo at the same psi will put better #'s because of that.
